Davidson & Robertson, the firm of Rural Surveyors and Consultants based in Cockermouth, has announced the promotion of Paul Robinson to Associate Director.

Paul Robinson joined the Davidson & Robertson team as an Associate in their Cockermouth office in 2021. Paul has experience in estate management across Scotland and Northern England and also has years of experience at local authorities including Cumbria County Council and the Lake District National Park. This has been a real asset when dealing with some of the major infrastructure projects across the country.

Paul currently looks after clients like Tarmac where he manages their property estate, and for Zenobe, an energy storage organisation where he is briefed to source battery storage development opportunities. In Cumbria, Paul has been supporting the Lodore Falls Hotel in their quest to utilise the hydro power of the falls to power the hotel amongst a host of other local private client matters including development and agency work.

Chris Edmunds, D&R Director at Cockermouth office said: “ Paul is a very experienced Surveyor and has been a real asset since joining us. Commenting on his promotion Paul said: “It’s great to have the recognition for the work I’ve been doing to help the business expand and develop in more infrastructure projects. I’m looking forward to expanding the portfolio of work which also includes supporting clients affected by the HS2 Annandale train stabling yard, and those affected by the A66 highway improvements at Brough.

“My new role as Associate Director also gives me the opportunity to take on more involvement in infrastructure schemes and also give be the chance to help our growing team develop their skills too.”
