Carlisle bare-knuckle boxing star Danny Christie has been sparring with Tommy Fury.
The Currock fighter had six rounds with Fury at the Elite Boxing Gym in Bolton.
It came as part of Fury’s preparation for his much-hyped fight against Jake Paul later this month.
Christie was invited to spar with Fury by Fury’s father John and Alex Matvienko, the former boxer and gym owner.
The Carlisle fighter, who is targeting more progress on the major bare-knuckle scene this year, described it as a “great experience” and said it had been “six good rounds” with Fury, brother of heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury.
John Fury paid tribute to Christie following the sparring session.
In a YouTube video, he said: “You’re a true fighting man, mate.
“Inside and outside the ring, you carry yourself well.
“It was a pleasure having you and you’re welcome at the gym any time.
“Thank you for respecting Tommy and giving him the credit he deserves.”
Former Love Island star Fury, 23, will take on YouTube star Paul in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia on February 26.
The rivals will face each other after two previous cancellations.
Fury, speaking to Sky Sports about the build-up to the fight, said: "It's tunnel vision and nothing else is going to distract me. Nothing in this world could take away my focus right now."
Christie, 38, has a growing reputation on the BKFC bare-knuckle scene following two victories last year.
He defeated Terry Brazier at Wembley Arena in a blood-soaked contest on his debut.
The Carlisle fighter then went on to overpower Darren Godfrey in his second fight in Newcastle.
His next fight is yet to be confirmed.
