A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of rape.
Police arrested a 16-year-old as part of an investigation into a reported rape in the area of Carlisle Railway Station.
Police officers were contacted ay 6.08am today (February 11) following a report.
The 16-year-old male remains detained for questioning.
Police said the victim is being supported by specialist officers.
This information comes after police were spotted blocking access to Carlisle railway station car park and Collier Lane with vehicles this morning.

Enquiries are ongoing, and anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area is asked to contact police.
