A MAN has appeared in court accused of inflicting grievous bodily harm on a female.
Dylan Rowan, 26, of Shelley Court, Salterbeck, Workington, indicated a not guilty plea to a charge of wounding or inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent.
Rowan is accused of unlawfully and maliciously inflicting grievous bodily harm upon a female in Whitehaven on January 23 last year.
He appeared at Workington Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
The case was sent to Carlisle Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on March 24.
Rowan was granted unconditional bail.
