A ROAD in Carlisle will remain closed for 21 days for repairs.
The temporary road closure affects Beaconsfield Street in Currock, from the Currock Road junction to the roundabout on the Blackwell Road junction.
This is, according the Cumbria County Council, for footway repairs.
The road was being repaired with temporary lights in place today, but Cumbria County Council said that because of congestion, they made the decision to close the area off entirely during the process.
