A COCKERMOUTH hotel is up for sale.
Hundith Hill Hotel, Lorton Vale, is on the market for £1,900,000.
The former 19th Century, country manor house hotel is set in 14 acres of land and overlooks the Lorton Valley. It has 27 bedrooms and is a popular wedding venue.
The hotel is being marketed by Christie & Co. The listing says: "Hundith Hill Hotel has been owned and operated by our clients since the 1980s and is being offered for sale due to retirement.
"Under their ownership, the hotel has been extensively renovated and improved, and trades as one of the area's most popular restaurant and bars, function and conference venues.
"Last full year's pre-covid trading to September 30, 2019 shows a net turnover of £1,073,608 with a gross profit margin of 75 per cent. 12 months turnover to March 31, 2022 of £1,397,725."
