A FREE exhibition 'celebrating and acknowledging the formation and achievements of Carlisle City Council' will be held at The Old Town Hall, Carlisle.
The exhibition opening hours are between 10am and 4pm between Saturday March 4 to March 11.
Carlisle Reflections will include exhibition panels, audio of interviews with current and past staff and a selection of videos showcasing the city.
The content for the exhibition has been drawn together by a ‘legacy’ working group made up of Carlisle City Council staff and includes interviews that recollect the times and changes at the council.
Leader of Carlisle City Council, Cllr John Mallinson, said: “Carlisle has a proud past which should be celebrated. The Carlisle Reflections exhibition draws together historical information, artefacts, video and audio presentations.
"All tell the story of the city and the work of Carlisle City Council over the past decades.
