A 17th-century village pub in Crosby-on-Eden has been made available to rent and will remain closed until new tenants are found.
The news was announced on the Stag Inn Crosby-on-Eden's social media with a statement on March 6 that confirmed that new tenants were being sought and thanked the local community for its support.
They said: "Thank you to everyone that has supported us over the past 10 months."
The recently refurbished Stag Inn was listed by real estate agency Blue Alpine earlier this month.
The 'traditional' pub is described in the listing by Blue Alpine as being: "in the heart of the affluent and beautiful village of Crosby-on-Eden, Cumbria."
The Grade II listed building has been made available on a 'new lease with terms to be agreed by negotiation' at a rate of £475 per week or £2,058.33 per calendar month.
The Stag Inn was contacted for comment.
