Cumbrian Photographer Jeanne Rogers has raised over £600  for two charities, Carlisle Eden (CE) Mind and Lake District Mountain Rescue, by selling a charity calendar - something she started four years ago.

She said: "Over the past four years I have produced a charity calendar, with all profitable proceeds previously going to, breast cancer now, a special needs school and nursery in Gambia, last year was for Crohn's and Colitis.

"This year after gathering charity suggestions, I went with CE Mind and Lake District Mountain Rescue, ensuring all the money raised remained local, with both charities receiving each £322.45.

""I have always loved photographs, looking back on moments captured in time is precious. I used to love taking a roll of film into the local shop and waiting excitedly to collect the packet and see what had come out.

"Obviously now with digital it is very different, I got my first DSLR around ten years ago and love to explore new places with a camera and a few lenses in tow.

"All the images in this year's calendar were from my UK travels, it was really hard to narrow down to just 12 as we have so much to offer within this country."
