A WOMAN became abusive to police after being arrested, telling one officer that she would “remember her face” and “knock her out”.
Terri Donald, 37, was described as being “abusive” towards police following her arrest on February 17, Workington Magistrates’ Court heard.
Pamela Fee, prosecuting, said Donald had to be inserted into the police cell in Workington and took a “particular dislike” to PC Baigent, putting her middle finger up at her, telling her, “I will remember your face”.
The defendant told the officer she would “knock her out” and continued to stare directly at her.
When told to sit down, Donald became verbally abusive, the court was told.
Donald, of Inner Ling Road, Seaton, Workington, pleaded guilty to assault by beating of an emergency worker.
Charges of failing to provide specimen for analysis and violent behaviour at a police station, were withdrawn by the prosecution.
Ms Fee said the procedure for providing a specimen for analysis had been “flawed” due to the defendant’s violent behaviour.
Mike Woolaghan, defending, requested a pre-sentence report be carried out by the probation service.
Donald will be sentenced on March 27. She was granted unconditional bail.
