A ROUND-UP of the latest weekend of non-league football.

CARLISLE CITY 1 - 2 REDCAR ATHLETIC

Carlisle City slumped to their fourth loss in five games with defeat against Redcar Athletic at the Three Rivers Health & Safety Consultancy Stadium.

Jordan Palmer's 39th-minute opener for the hosts was canceled out in the second half by strikes from Craig Hutchinson and Bradon Holdsworth.

Jim Nichols' side are now 14th in the Northern Football League Division 1 after the result and a three-point deduction that was imposed by the Northern Football League due to ineligible player Thomas Hickey being fielded by the Cumbrians in their 2-1 victory against Crook Town in February.

This game will also be replayed.

WHICKHAM 2 - 1 PENRITH

Penrith missed the chance to go three matches unbeaten after their defeat at the Glebe Sports Ground.

Robbie Hebson had drawn Darren Edmondson's side level in the 39th minute after an opening goal within 2 minutes for the hosts.

However, Scott Robson's 75th-minute penalty sunk the traveling Cumbrians and forced them down to 18th place in the Northern Football League Division 1

CLEATOR MOOR CELTIC 1 - 2 ATHERTON LR

Cleator Moor Celtic remain rock-bottom of the North West Counties Football League First Division North after their fifth defeat in six games against mid-table side Atherton LR.
