Cases of bird flu have been detected at another location near Southwaite according to the Animal and Plant Health agency.
A 3km 'captive bird controlled zone' has been put in place around the premises and infected birds will be 'humanely culled'.
The UK is currently seeing an outbreak of avian influenza with 174 cases of the virus found in England since the start of October.
The highly pathogenic strain of avian influenza was also found at a commercial poultry premises near Langwathby last month.
Dr Neil Hudson, MP for Penrith and the Border said: “Devastating news again for Eden. My thoughts are with everyone in the frontline, on the farm and for everyone affected.
“I continue to liaise with the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs on this and the wider situation.”

Members of the public have been urged to inform the authorities if they suspect a case of bird flu.
