Day trip to Penrith
Nestled in the Eden Valley, Penrith is always worth a visit. It is the perfect combination of history and cobbled streets, alongside a host of boutique shops, cafes and restaurants to help you while away the day. Alternatively, download one of the Town Trails and follow a walk through the pretty market town while discovering more about its colourful past.

Picnic by the lake
Keep it simple and head to Keswick to enjoy your first picnic of the year. Visit one of the town’s many bakeries and delicatessens such as Keswick Cheese Deli to pick up some tasty local treats, before heading to Crow Park on the shore of Derwentwater. Relax as the water laps the shore and indulge in good food, beautiful scenery and great company.
