CUMBRIA'S Fire and Rescue Service were called to the scene of a fire caused by a coffee machine yesterday afternoon (March 23).
The fire service attended John Watt & Son coffee shop on Blackfriars Street, Carlisle, at around 3pm.
A spokesperson for Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service said:"At 15:04 on Thursday March 23, two fire engines from Carlisle East and West Fire Stations were mobilised to reports of an incident at John Watt & Son coffee shop on Blackfriars Street, Carlisle.
“Upon arrival, crews discovered a fire involving a coffee machine and extinguished the fire.”
