A CUMBRIAN paranormal investigator has delved into what has been dubbed 'the most haunted hotel in the UK.'
Louis Dee, of Workington, runs a YouTube channel, Louis Dee Vlogs, where he investigates some of the UK's most haunted locations.
Recently he paid a visit to Liverpool's Adelphi Hotel which has an infamous history and is the site of many ghost walks and tours.
Louis and his partner Fran decided to investigate the hotel. He said: "With many deaths over the years from suicides and untimely deaths, Fran and I decided to spend two nights on the third floor, the most haunted floor of the hotel, according to the staff.
"People have reported getting sick on the third floor and seeing spirits shadows at the end of the bed (called George). He died in the elevator in the hotel.
"The hotel has a room called the Sefton suit which is a replica of the Titanic's smoking lounge and was designed by the same architect that designed the Titanic.
"The ghost of the captain of the Titanic has been seen there.
"We spent the first night exploring the hotel and getting our bearings trying to figure out where we would start. We decided to start the investigation in our hotel room on the third floor. We set up a few paranormal devices and left our camera rolling as we went downstairs.
"We came back and reviewed the footage and inside the room, you can hear my car keys being moved, whistling, and footsteps inside our room.
"We had a conversation with the staff and the hotel took us below the hotel to film the Victorian pool which has been abandoned and closed from the public since the drowning of a man in there.
"Reviewing the footage a voice can be heard saying 'who’s there' but we didn’t pick up on this at the time.

"We ran an EVP device on the third floor where the bad spirits are said to be and I called out is there anyone here with us now we played back the recording and it said 'the devil's here', clear as day. This was chilling.
"After all my years of ghost hunting I've never been to a location as active as the Adelphi Hotel."
