Police officers have caught several speeding drivers after concerns were raised about the issue in rural areas.
Cumbria Constabulary said the results of their latest survey for the Carlisle West Rural area saw people telling us that they were concerned about speeding in the rural areas canvassed.
In response, three of their police officers have been out with a speed gun in Dalston this morning (March 29) and caught seven vehicles breaking the speed limit between 10:30am and 11:30am.
