£2 isn’t just far less than it’d cost to drive there, it’s also much cheaper than the cost of parking.

Stagecoach’s 554 service from Carlisle to Keswick via Wigton takes in some of north Cumbria’s most spectacular scenery as it heads down the shore of Bassenthwaite in the shadow of Skiddaw.

Have a stroll around Derwentwater or take to the water with the Keswick Launch Company.

Visit Keswick Museum, Keswick Brewery, the Derwent Pencil Museum and many more attractions or why not enjoy some culture with plays and productions at Theatre by the Lake and films at the Alhambra Cinema.

And of course, there’s fell walking and climbing with many routes starting from the town which is surrounded by some of Cumbria’s most famous fells.
