Morgan Sindall Infrastructure, a UK nuclear industry multi-discipline delivery partner, has held their first Green Plant Day in Cumbria.

Taking place on Wednesday, March 29 the event showcased new and exciting alternatives to traditional plant and equipment as part of the organisation’s drive to achieve net-zero.

Eldon Garnett, managing director of the Nuclear Business said: “We were absolutely delighted to bring this event to Cumbria. We are on the road to net-zero and reducing our operational carbon by 25% by 2025.

"This event is just one of the ways we will continue to drive forward innovative ideas and approaches that enable us to safely, responsibly and collaboratively design solutions that deliver the best for our clients, for Cumbria and for the UK. We can't do this alone and we all must play our part; by working together, with our supply chain, we can achieve our collective goals.”

As a responsible business, Morgan Sindall Infrastructure believes in delivering positive change through protecting and developing their people, improving the environment, working together with their supply chain and enhancing the communities in which they operate.
