Readers have responded to plans to turn a vacant unit on Lowther Street, Carlisle into a restaurant.
The proposal seeks to convert the former Oak Tree Animals Charity shop on 68 Lowther Street into a Turkish restaurant.
Plans were registered with Cumberland Council's planning authority on April 6, on behalf of Mr Mintimur.
Here's what you had to say.
Hazel Rowe said: "Get some new shops in Carlisle."
Paula Rae said: "We could do with a Costa Coffee."
Julie Nash said: "There are empty units opposite that we’re restaurants so why waste money turning this into one, utilize the pre-existing units."
The design and access statement states: "The building has remained vacant for several years and was described in the last officer's statement as being in a derelict state.
"It has recently been upgraded along the shop frontages with replacement panels and general cleaning down."
The public can view and comment on all applications submitted to Cumberland Council for approval.
Councilors on the planning panel will consider comments of support or objection when giving a verdict.
