A Cumbrian butchers has donated thousands to an ambulance charity.
Cranstons’ managing director Martin Jones presented Great North Air Ambulance a cheque for £3150 and announced support for the charity.
He said: "We are delighted to once again offer our support to the Pride of Cumbria II Air Ambulance.
“The amazing team at Langwathby deliver such a vital service providing critical care and transportation for patients in need across our region.
“This latest share of profits donation reflects Cranstons real commitment to give back to the communities we serve.
“It’s great for our customers to know that when they spend at Cranstons a proportion of the profits we make go to our regional charity partners.”
GNAAS is one of four charities Cranstons are supporting this year with ‘share of profits’ donations.
“Cheques have also been presented to Tynedale Hospice at Home, Carlisle Youth Zone and Hospice at Home, Carlisle and North Lakeland.
