HERE are our pets of the week, courtesy of Oak Tree Animals' Charity.

KURO

Meet Kuro, a four and a half year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is looking for his forever home.

Kuro came to us due to no fault of his own; he is a sweet boy who loves a fuss and cuddle but also loves to run around and play. He is looking for a home with his own secure garden so he is able to go outside to sniff and play.

He is strong on the lead so he will need to carry on his loose -lead walk training in his new home but so far he is picking up lots of new skills here at Oak Tree.

Due to his energy levels and jumpiness, it would be best for children in the home to be older (10+ years) and Kuro could potentially live with another dog dependent on how dog meets go here at Oak Tree.

Kuro is a very clever boy and loves to keep his brain and body active, therefore, he would love a home that will incorporate training games and different enrichment into his daily routine to mentally stimulate him.

Please get in touch if you think you can offer Kuro his forever home... a sofa to cuddle up on gives you extra bonus points!

RAMBO

Meet Rambo, who is just over 9 years old.

Rambo is a lovely boy who loves a fuss; he can be a little shy at first but, with patience, he soon comes out so say hello.

He could potentially live with older children who understand that he needs space while he gets to know them and that he will need his own time alone sometimes to relax.

Rambo can live with another cat who is fairly chilled as long as scent transfers at Oak Tree go well. Rambo is used to having outdoor access where he can come and go as he pleases, so he will need a home where he can go out to explore.
