Workington Reds are just one game from promotion after reaching the NPL West play-off final.
Danny Grainger's side defeated Clitheroe 2-0 in their semi-final at Borough Park.
Goals from Conor Tinnion and Dav Symington were enough to seal a showdown with Runcorn Linnets.
The final thids Saturday will also be at Borough Park, because Reds finished higher than Runcorn in the table.
Workington's victory came in front of a 1,665 crowd in west Cumbria as Grainger's side rose to the occasion in a game whose kick-off was delayed until 8pm.
Tinnion fired them ahead from the spot after 31 minutes.
And Symington struck after 76 minutes to seal the tie.
Workington will now be favourites for the final after Leek Town, who finished second in the table, a place above Reds, lost to Runcorn.
Goals from Lewis Doyle, Eden Gumbs and Ryan Brooke sent Runcorn through, Leek's Tim Grice hitting a consolation.
Reds finished 12 points above Runcorn in the table. Grainger's side won their home league meeting 2-1 last October and beat them 3-1 away from home in February. They lost 2-1 to the same opposition in the FA Trophy in September.
They now meet again with a place in the Northern Premier League Premier Division at stake.
