IN this week's edition of nostalgia, we have continued to look at some of the old nighspots, this list features Carlisle and Egremont clubs.
Cumbria's nightlife scene is constantly changing, with new bars and clubs opening as others fade into the past.
This picture gallery features some of the nightspots that proved popular over the years - and is bound to bring back memories of big nights out.
One club featured is Jumping Jaks, the nightclub opened its doors for the first time in April 2004, promising the best party in town. In June 2006, the club closed.
Buskers was one of the most popular nightclubs in Carlisle throughout the 90's and early noughties.
The Malt Shovel was situated at 1 Rickergate. The original building was demolished in 1928, with the new one completed on 4th August 1928 to the design of Harry Redfern. It closed in 2003.
The Old Hall was a central club for West Cumbria’s dance music scene in the early 1990s, however, as with many clubs, over time it closed. In 2021, a night has held in Whitehaven to reunite clubbers and DJ's. The Old Hall is now flats.
The Pagoda Nightclub was also a popular choice in the 80's and 90's in Carlisle.
Twisted Wheel was a hugely popukar nightclub in Carlisle, there is even a Facebook group dedicated to the old club for peoole to remincise about their nightouts there. The West Walls club was a favourite from the 1970s to the 2000s, it closed around 2008.
