Maryport Rescue Fun Day will be returning for 2023
The much anticipated annual Maryport fun day is back on on July, 222 at 10am.
The event is to raise funds and the profile of Maryport Rescue group of volunteers dedicated to saving lives.
It is an independent lifeboat service that receives no regular funding.
The volunteer group teams up with other emergency services on call outs.
They are involved in sea, flood and mud rescue and have responded to many of the major disasters in the area.
On the day, there will be a RAF Falcon Parachute Display Team along with arts and crafts, live music, games such as tug of war and even a dog show.
There will also be food and drink stalls and a funfair - so there is plenty to do for visitors of all ages to enjoy.
A spokesperson for Maryport Rescue said: "We are pleased to confirm the attendance of the RAF Falcon Parachute Display Team, along with Craft, Food & Drink stalls, Fair, Live Music, Emergency Services Display, Maryport Scruffs Dog Show, Tug of War plus more.
"Hope you will all come along and lend support your local Community Rescue Service."
