A music events promotion company has organised an upcoming gig in Penrith.
Glass City Events and Plug & Play are hosting a joint event featuring American artist Jude Brothers as part of her 2023 UK tour.
They explain: "Their distinct writing style is marked by contrast: passionate & playful, calculated & relaxed, approachable and quirky with lyrics that communicate dread and the intoxicating thrill of living and loving.
"Jude plays guitar and harp and will be accompanied on bass by Kai West from York indie grassroot titans Bull.
"Support from the evening comes from the excellent Rachel Kraft, a singer-songwriter originally from Scarborough but now residing here in Cumbria. 2019 album Natural Remedy showcases Rachel's good vibes folk anthems and delightful vocals."
Mike Roper from Glass City said: "I am very excited to collaborate with Plug and Play on an event for the first time, I have been coming to their nights way before I started Glass City and this was a perfect opportunity.
"I am really looking forward to giving another international artist an opportunity to visit North Cumbria as part of their national tour, while also showcasing local talent."
The event takes place on Sunday, May 21 at Penrith Players, starting at 7 pm.
