DRUM and bass royalty has been announced as a headliner for the Tarns Dub stage at the upcoming Solfest.
Goldie, one of the first personalities in British dance music since breaking out in the 90s, will be headlining the stage on Sunday, August 27.
Tarns dub stage manager, Nathan Sutherland, said: "Goldie has been top of my list of acts to book for quite some time now and I'm absolutely delighted to have got him to headline the stage on the Sunday.
"Full stage lineup is just about done and it is absolute fire," he said.
His debut album Timeless received worldwide critical acclaim, securing himself a highly sought-after MOBO Award.
In 2016, Goldie (Clifford Joseph Price) was awarded an MBE by King Charles III as he was recognised for his services to his industry and young people.
He joins the Tarn Dub stage bill alongside one of the biggest drum and bass artists at the moment, Sigma.
The festival takes place from August 24 to 29 at the North Lakes Country Park in Silloth and will bring other artists to the centre stage such as The Libertines and The Undertones.
The Tarns dub stage will be releasing more acts soon as tickets begin to sell-out fast.
