PLANS have been lodged to change the use of a former commercial premises to a wine bar in Carlisle's city centre.

The application was lodged with Cumberland Council on April 28.

The plans seek to turn a currently vacant unit into a bar at number 4 on The Crescent.

It was submitted by JMC National Limited.

The application form states the proposed development will: "Change the interior to a wine bar, make adjustments to the existing toilets and adapt existing cellar to storage and an office."
