Cumbrian star Helen Housby has revealed her pride at being picked by England for this summer's netball World Cup.
Housby is in a 12-strong squad for the tournament which will be held in Africa.
Housby, a regular in the Vitality Roses side, will lend her experience and attacking skills to England's big for glory in the 16th edition of the World Cup, which runs from July 28 to August 6.
Housby, from Drumleaning near Wigton, posted on Instagram that she was "privileged once again to be heading to a World Cup with an incredible group of women."
"Excited to make more memories...South Africa we're coming!" added the Carlisle-born player.
The Cumbrian - who plays for New South Wales Swifts in Australia - is no stranger to international stardom with England, famously landing the winning last-second shot against Australia to win the Commonwealth Games title in 2018.
Jess Thirlby, Vitality Roses head coach, said: “The unveiling of our Roses squad is a hugely exciting moment and the culmination of years of hard work that the players and the wider team have put in to drive the depth and breadth of our talent pool, as well as our performances on the international and domestic stage.
“The team are highly ambitious, hugely supportive of each other and I trust together we will do whatever we can to perform at our best in Cape Town.”
England, who came third in the 2019 World Cup, launch this year's campaign against Barbados on July 28, followed by a clash with Malawi on July 29 and then a home nations encounter with Scotland on July 30.
