Cumbrian racing driver Frank Bird claimed a double podium finish at Brands Hatch.
Bird impressed in his latest outing for Haupt Racing Team in the opening round of the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup.
Bird, contesting the Silver Cup class with Australian team-mate Jordan Love, claimed third in the weekend's opening race before an even better showing the following day took them to a close second after 41 laps of the famous Kent circuit.
Bird, from Penrith, said: "Overall, I’m pretty happy - after not much track time, we made a good comeback in both races to finish P3 and P2 in the Silver Cup class.
"We definitely showed we had good pace fighting for overall places as well but a solid weekend on which to build for the rest of the season.
"Thanks to the team for a great car, my teammate Jordan for a great job and to our sponsors and my dad. I’m really looking forward to rest of the season.”
