BLUES fans are in jubilant spirits after the side triumphed, securing themselves a spot at Wembley.

The 3-1 win over Bradford City earned a 3-2 aggregate win and a place in the League Two play-off final against Stockport County.

The final whistle at Brunton Park triggered huge celebrations as fans invaded the pitch.

Many of United's players were mobbed with stars including home-city favourite Owen Moxon lifted onto fans' shoulders.

Cumbria's very own dancing queen, Helen Skelton said she was 'beyond proud' of the team.

"Beyond proud and excited for my brother, his family, his colleagues, my parents and all of Carlisle United.

"You never get immune to the irrational nature of sport. Wembley bound!" she said.
