AFTER a nail-biting League Two play off match at the weekend, our readers were jubilant in numbers as they praised Carlisle United for edging one step closer to promotion.

A one-goal United win took the tie to nerve-racking extra-time. 

Goals by Callum Guy and Ben Barclay secured the Blues a spot in the final, with the game against Bradford City finishing 3-2 on aggregate. 

Paul Simpson’s side are set to take on Stockport County at Wembley on Sunday, as they look to 'finish the job'. 

Across social media, praise was given for Simmo’s side as well messages of ‘good luck’ for next weekend.

Anthony Stevenson said, quite rightly, ‘top man, top manager’.  

Sue Dean called the fixture a ‘brilliant game’.

Similarly, David Blamire said: "Brilliant, entertaining football game. Would love them to go up with more investment to go further."
