AN APPLICATION has been submitted to turn a butcher in Carlisle into a tanning salon and an E-cigarette shop.
The application looks to change the use of the former Lynn D & J Butchers on Central Avenue, Harraby, to that of a mixed-use premise.
Plans were submitted to Cumberland Council on May 23, by Robinson Drafting and Design Limited on behalf of Mr Jardine.
The plans look to restore a currently vacant premise.
The application form proposes the premises hours to be open from 9am to 9pm, Monday to Friday, with reduced hours over the weekend.

The Local Highway Authority (LHA) and Lead Local Flood Authority (LLFA) have reviewed the planning reference and proposed no objections to the development.
The public can view and comment on all applications submitted to Cumberland Council for approval.
Councillors on the planning panel will take comments of support or objection into account when giving a verdict.
