A LOCAL Carlisle restaurant will be feeding the mouths of 80 people as they look to help raise funds for CFM's Cash For Kids.
MC, who owns The Dhaka restaurant on London Road, will be hosting the charity night on June 26.
"Cash for Kids is a good cause. We've got the mayor coming, previous mayors, and customers and I'll be giving a free meal in exchange for a donation to the charity.
"I wanted to help kids with no mums, no fathers or those experiencing homelessness, I just wanted to help any way I could," he said.
And whilst the restaurant is fully booked for the evening, any donations will gladly be welcomed prior to the event to help children that need it most in the county, whether it be those suffering abuse or neglect, disabled or have special needs, or even just those who need a helping hand.
Last month, the money raised for the nationwide Cash for Kids Day meant the charity could help 13,214 children.
The total support given out across the UK so far this year will be worth over £2,028,854.
