A mountain rescue team has been out this week to help someone with a dislocated ankle fracture.
Keswick MRT was called out to Scales Fell, Blencathra on June 5 at 11.28 am.
A spokesperson said: "The third dislocated ankle fracture in a week. This time the unlucky man was ascending Scales Fell on Blencathra.
"After some strong pain relief, the ankle was reduced and strapped in a leg splint before he was stretchered down the hill to an ambulance.
"The team received a what3words coordinate in the original message which was near enough to be believable but far enough away to potentially cause a delay.
"Fortunately, we were able to use Phonefind to confirm the casualty location so it wasn’t an issue this time."
Ten team members were called out for three hours and 17 minutes.
