A MARYPORT amateur group will take to the stage again this weekend as they bring a world premiere to Workington.
From the team that brought Young Frankenstein to the Carnegie Stage, Maryport AODS are delighted to stage the world premiere of making Your Mind Up starting today, June 8.
Taking residency in Workington, this glitzy concert homage to Eurovision, the biggest annual song contest in Europe, is presented live on stage.
The show gives the audience the power to decide which of the competing countries will win via mobile phone text voting.
Upon arrival at each of the four performances, audience members will be randomly assigned to one of the competing countries as they enter the theatre.
When the interval falls, the jury then decide how the show will end.
With eye-popping set and over 200 costumes, the show is jam-packed with over 25 Eurovision hits from the last six decades including Boom Bang-A-Bang, Save Your Kisses For Me, Volare, Rise Like A Phoenix and, of course, Waterloo.
For only four performances, the company of local performers are taking to the stage, accompanied live musicians.
The organisers said: "Grab your flags, round up your friends and prepare yourself for an unforgettable night".
Tickets are still available from the Carnegie.
