Cumbrian teenagers looking to get kitted out for their prom are being invited to 'grab a bargain' and support a much-loved local charity at the same time at a pop-up shop on Saturday, June 10.
Thanks to the support of local community coming forward with donations of prom dresses, suits and accessories, Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice are hosting the pop-up in The Lanes shopping centre between 10am and 4pm.
Prom can be a huge expense, especially when buying brand new so the pop-up will offer the perfect opportunity for people to get high quality, or brand new, attire for the celebration - while raising vital funds for the charity.

The shop will be in the pop-up unit just inside the Primark entrance to The Lanes, opposite Schuh.
Donations to the prom pop-up shop are still being welcomed and can be taken up until Thursday, June 8.
To donate your prom wear you can drop at any of the charity's shops in Carlisle, at the pop-up unit on Thursday or alternatively you can drop off directly to the hospice on Durdar Road. Contact Richard Jackson on 01228 817615 for more details.
