Lowther Castle's spectacular 10,000 ceramic daffodils installation will be coming to a climax when 10 large daffodils will be auctioned.
The extraordinary pieces, crafted by designers Rory Stewart, Dan Pearson, James Rebanks, and Jim Lowther, will be available for online bidding from June 17 - June 24.
Jim Lowther of Lowther Castle said: “We are very excited about this event.
"It will raise a great deal of money for many important causes. And it will also shine an invaluable spotlight on the work that each charity does.”
The funds raised from the auction will contribute to the existing impressive tally of £300,000 raised by the project thus far, which will go to six both UK-wide and local charities.
The original 10,000 daffodils have been constructed by an army of 350 volunteers.
The visual event - based on Wordsworth’s eponymous poem - has been put in place by Dockray-based potter Helen Ratcliffe.
Entry to Ten Thousand Daffodils is free with admission to Lowther Castle & Gardens.
The event closes on June 24.
A few remaining small daffodils are on sale via www.tenthousanddaffodils.org/shop
