Omagh born and bred Gareth Pritchard will be making his first appearance at Rosley Village Hall on Sunday, June 25.

The nephew of country singing star Dominic Kirwan,Gareth has received a number of awards including, Best Newcomer, and a Gold Disc recognising world-wide sales of his album.

Gareth said: “I work with my own band and we are regularly touring around Scotland and England as well as Ireland where I was born and bred. I am very passionate about singing, and love the joy it gives to others who come along to my shows.”

As well as singing the country and Irish favourites – Country Roads, Galway Girl, The Dance – Garth has recorded a number of self-penned songs that have received great reviews. His recordings are often aired on Country Music TV stations.

Organiser Adele Egglestone of Penrith commented, “We are pleased to be welcoming and introducing another new act to Rosley this year. Gareth’s Uncle, Dominic Kirwan, is a firm favourite in Cumbria and you can clearly see the musical gene has passed on to Gareth.

Tickets for the show on must be purchased in advance, are priced at £15 and can be bought from Adele on 07706 597132. The show starts at 8pm with doors open at 7pm.
