Cumbrian cave rescuers took part in a crucial training weekend.
Eight members of the Cumbria Ore Mines Rescue Unit (COMRU) attended the British Cave Rescue Council's medical weekend in Yorkshire.
A spokesperson from COMRU said that the weekend involved numerous theory and practical sessions in collaboration with numerous cave rescue teams throughout the UK.
