Flimby will host its annual children's carnival on Saturday, July 1 with the day promising to be fun for the whole family.
After the success of recent years, the carnival will return to Flimby tomorrow afternoon, with the judging of the costumes set to begin around 1 pm.
Prizes are on offer for a number of individual costume classes, ranging from novelty to best dance group.
The parade, which is led by the Flimby band, will set off half an hour later, travelling from Flimby School up Ryehill Road, onto St Helen's up St Nicholas, onto Wedgewood Road, and finally down West Lane to reach the rugby field.
There, children will be able to enjoy a variety of activities at the carnival such as fairs, face painting, and inflatables.
Wristbands are available to buy for just £3 and that will allow children to enjoy unlimited carnival fun until proceedings begin to die down around 6:30 pm.
