A WEST Cumbrian hospitality group has bought out a popular West Cumbrian hotel and restaurant.

Hunday Manor Hotel is a country house hotel just off the A595 near Workington complete with 27 bedrooms, a 70-seat restaurant, cocktail bar, and conference and banqueting rooms for up to 250 guests set in four acres of picturesque grounds with wonderful views.

Osprey are a West Cumbrian based hospitality company with a portfolio of establishments including The Galloping Horse in High Harrington and The Peddler in Whitehaven, employing over 50 members of staff.

Craig Lowery, Managing Director of Osprey Management Group said: “Hunday Manor Hotel is a great business ideally located on the edge of the Lake District National Park and is located near our other establishments, we are thrilled with the addition of the hotel to our portfolio.

Osprey Management Group are known locally for their attention to detail notably with the full refurbishment of The Galloping Horse and its new garden, as well as the impact The Peddler has made in Whitehaven with its atmosphere and dynamic food and beverage offering.
