Taste Cumbria is set to return to Maryport this summer after the huge success of last year's festival.
The Maryport Taste of the Sea Festival, which has been organised in partnership with Maryport Town Council, will take place on Saturday, August 12 and Sunday, August 13.
Located in the heart of the town centre, Maryport will welcome prominent local chefs, hot food stalls, and a producers' market, all of which promise to keep visitors well-fed.
The festival, which is free to attend, will also feature an outdoor picnic area with live music, cookery demonstrations and fairground rides.
Last year's event proved to be a significant success after registering an estimated economic impact of £996,168.
This was more than double that of the 2021 event, which boosted the county’s economy by £453,682.
This year's event promises to be another fantastic day out for the whole family and there are another two events in Cockermouth to look forward to in September and December.
