CARLISLE'S original comic convention will make a return to the city next month after a four-year absence due to the pandemic.
Megacon, which is organised by Carlisle Gamers, had been an annual event in Cumbria before Coronavirus came around in 2020.
The geek institution is now promising to return with its biggest and best convention yet, which is set to take place at the Richard Rose Central Academy on Saturday, August 19.
The event will feature over 50 stalls and traders, card game tournaments and target wrestling, while prizes will also go out to the winners of the eye-catching cosplay competition.
Further games and challenges are set to be revealed on the day, with the organisers promising a 'wild ride' for anyone in attendance.
Tickets can be bought for £6 on the Carlisle Gamers website.
