The Lanes in Carlisle City Centre is set to welcome some amazingly lifelike dinosaurs at the end of this month.

The animatronic beasts, which are 'renowned' for their authenticity, look and move just like the real thing and will be available to see in the shopping centre on Saturday, July 29.

The Dinosaur Paddock, located near Next will include a lifelike Velociraptor and baby Pterodactyl.

Visitors can come and enjoy watching the animatronic creatures, roaming around during 20 minute performances, under the watchful eye of their keeper. Performances will start at 11.30am, 12.45pm and 2pm.

Mark Nott, centre manager at The Lanes said: “The school summer holidays are almost upon us and it can be challenging to find activities to constantly entertain the kids.

"The dinosaurs are thrilling to watch and so lifelike, and with a free trail and craft activity on offer, we’re looking forward to welcoming lots of families next week as they kick of their summer holidays."
