Beyond the Barricade, the UK's longest-running musical theatre concert tour, is set to visit Carlisle in September.
The show, which will be performed at the Sands Centre on Saturday, September 16, promises over two hours of the very best from Broadway and the West End, culminating with a stunning finale from Les Miserables.
Featuring a new setlist, the show promises to include many of the best numbers that have made Beyond the Barricade the most popular musical theatre concert in the country, as it approaches its 25th year.
Originally developed by Andy Reiss and David Fawcett, who met while working on a Manchester production of Les Miserables, Beyond the Barricade has developed into a hugely popular, high-quality musical show.
Performances have a completely original feel to them, as every musical note is still played and sung live, with a refusal to use click tracks also helping to enhance the dynamic feel of the show.
The concert features Les Mis' performers David Fawcett, Andy Reiss, Katie Leeming and Sarah Ryan, accompanied by a live band who help to recapture the original orchestrations of the musicals.
Familiar favourites such as the Lion King, Mamma Mia and Phantom of the Opera will also feature on what promises to be a musical extravaganza at the Sands Centre later this year.
Tickets for the performance can be found on the Sands Centre's website.
