AS thousands begin to flock to Cumbria's sold-out musical festival, here's a round-up of everything you need to know from the main stage times to the weekend's weather.
Kendal Calling, in Deer Park at Lowther Castle, returns for its 17th year, bringing with it a huge roster of exciting talent such as Kasabian, Rick Astley, Nile Rodgers & Chic as well as the Kaiser Chiefs.
Cumbria's biggest music festival runs from today (July 27) until Sunday (July 30).
Today (July 27), festival-goers with early-door tickets will have the chance to see Nile Rodgers & Chic alongside Scouting for Girls, Black Honey and Gengahr.
For those looking to get into the festival spirit on Sunday, the event is promoting the Summer of Love fancy dress theme - think flower power and all things groovy when donning your outfits.
Gates are open between 9am and 9pm on Thursday, and from 8am until 9pm on Friday.
On Saturday and Sunday, they're open from 10am to 9pm.
WEATHER:
The Met Office is predicting quite a weather change over the weekend, so it's worth packing both your sunglasses and shorts as well as your wellies.
Today (July 27), the weather will turn to overcast throughout the afternoon, with the hopes of staying mostly dry throughout the day.
Friday morning (July 28), will see cloudy skies, and it will remain that way until noon with the sun set to make an appearance at around 3pm.
Saturday (July 29) is definitely one for the raincoats, whilst there will be sunny spells, light showers are expected throughout the day with temperatures reaching 17 degrees.
Sunday (July 30), will bring very much similar conditions to Saturday - with the temperature reaching 18 degrees, the day is expected to consist of light showers and sunny spells.
TRAVEL:
Those travelling by train should know the nearest train station to the festival site is Penrith (also known as Penrith North Lakes) which is a 15-minute taxi journey from the site.
A special shuttle bus service will run from the station to the festival.
For those dropping off, there is a designated pick up and drop off point located at Green Gate, follow signs as you get close to the site.
Drivers are being advised to allow for extra travel time as traffic begins to pick-up from July 27.

Cumbria Police Advice:
Don’t take irreplaceable valuables on site
Only bring drugs medically prescribed to you onto site and carry your prescriptions in case you are searched.
If you see anything suspicious or feel uncomfortable on-site report it to an officer, event security or the event staff.
Bring an old mobile phone and a charging pod - there are also charging bays on site.
Do not leave your drinks unattended as a precaution.
Arrange a rendezvous site each night with your friends, and make sure you all get back to your tents safely.
Look out for one another.
