CARLISLE Cathedral is offering tours this summer, which will allow visitors to see the iconic attraction in a completely new way.
Angels' View and Bell Tower Tours are available on various dates throughout August, giving people the chance to see the historic building as they have never done before.
Those wishing to climb up to the cathedral's clerestory and see things in a unique new way can take a 30-minute Angels' View tour from 11:30 am, 1:30 pm, and 2:30 pm, with tickets costing £4 for over 16s.
The tour will allow visitors to truly appreciate the stunning medieval-stained glass on the east window and get up close to the famous starry ceiling.
Bell Tower tours are available on Wednesday, August 9, Saturday, August 19, and Wednesday, August 30, with tickets costing £10 for over 16s.
This hour-long tour allows visitors to climb the cathedral's 137 steps, discovering more about the history of the building and its bells on the way.
