POPULAR comedy folk band the Lancashire Hotpots have confirmed their visit to Carlisle later this year, just a few days after featuring at the Kendal Calling music festival.
The St Helens band, which was formed back in 2006, has made the Old Fire Station in Carlisle the final stop of its 2023 'Bisto Inferno' tour.
Best known for hits such as Chippy Tea, Egg Sausage Chips and Beans, and Shopmobility Scooter, the band promises a great night of entertainment when they visit the border city on Saturday, December 16.
The group records songs about Lancashire, technology, and British culture and has previously been described as 'blooming brilliant' by BBC Radio 2 presenter Zoe Ball.
Visitors can enter the venue at 6.45 pm with doors opening at 7.30 pm, with the Lancashire Hotpots expected to be on stage by 8pm.
Tickets for the event will cost £18 and are available on the Old Fire Station website.
