Popular mod revival band Secret Affair are set to appear in Carlisle later this year as part of their 2023 tour.
Originally formed in 1978, the band enjoyed a spell of popularity in England before disbanding in 1982, with their debut single Time For Action selling over 250,000 copies and reaching number 13 in the UK chart.
They would reform in 2002 and are heading out on tour again later this year, with a trip to Carlisle's Old Fire Station planned for Thursday, November 16.
More chart success followed with Let Your Heart Dance and My World, while they also created their own take on a smart-dressing youth movement known as the Glory Boys, which gained popularity after the band opened for The Jam at Reading University in 1979.
Founder member Ian Page will be joined by Russ Baxter on drums, Ed Pearson on bass, and Garry Walsh on keyboards.
Tickets for the event cost £20 and can be found on the Old Fire Station website.
