Carlisle Dance Academy is set to host a Barbie party next week as the hype surrounding Greta Gerwig's comedy film continues to sweep the nation.
Barbie was released in cinemas in late July and earned £261 million globally from its opening weekend, which makes it the biggest film of the year so far.
Businesses across the planet are cashing in with Barbie-themed marketing campaigns and those in Cumbria are no different.
Carlisle Dance Academy will become the latest place in the border city to host an event commemorating the film, when they host their Barbie party on August 9.
Children over the age of four are encouraged to visit for a fun-filled day of makeovers, photoshoots, and games.
The event, which runs from 9.30am until 3pm, is open to non-members of the dance academy and costs £20 per person, although there are limited spaces available.
